Study of the Double-Layer Sintering Process with Stand-Support

It has been widely reported that the sintering productivity and bed permeability would be reduced when adopting ultra-deep sintering. To solve aforementioned problems, double-layer process with stand-support (DLSP-S) is proposed in this research to achieve of a 1000 mm bed. The results showed compared process, DLSP-S improved yield from 64.53% 1.76 t·m−2·h−1 66.74% 2.12 t·m−2·h−1, respectively. findings quasi-fines 5–10 were by 2.1% stand height increased 0 350 mm, which further illustrated effect DLSP-S.
